Cut Gasket Service

We offer a comprehensive Gasket Cutting service capable of cutting on a scale from 1mm to 1m. Gaskets and seals for a variety of purposes including EMC, Thermal Management and Environmental Sealing.

Capabilities

We have several machines capable of producing gaskets at Uvox. We have recently commissioned a new CNC Cutting machine. This gives us the capability of cutting gaskets larger than previously able, improving the overall cut accuracy, as well as decreasing turn-around on low volume orders.

Prototyping

Using the CNC Cutting machine provides fast turn-around for prototyping. Modifications to the design can be made in minutes, rather than costly and slow hard-tooling.

Materials

We are fully capable to deal with most industry-specific materials, and offer cutting services on material from our own supply, or free-issue material. Common environmental materials include:

• Silicone Sponge
• Flourosilicone
• Solid Neoprene
• Neoprene Sponge
• Solid EPDM
• EPDM Sponge

We often work with 'filled' materials and are happy to convert filled silicones, flourosilicones and EPDM rubbers. Standard Shielding materials we offer are:

• Electrically-Conductive Elastomer
• Electro-Conductive Foam
• Wire Mesh Combination Gasket
• Wires In Silicone

Our thermal range of products is available on request, and we are fully able to cut materials from leading thermally-conductive-material manufacturers.
