Over the past month we have been expanding our physical footprint and added a brand-new machine to our complement.
March has been a busy month at Uvox Ltd. We took delivery of a brand new state-of-the-art CNC Knife Cutting machine coupled with industry leading CAD/CAM software. This opens great new avenues for us, but also enables us to provide overall better service. It gives us access to much tighter tolerances, we are able to kiss cut more easily, cope with higher volumes of parts and last but not least – for parts cut this way there is no tooling requirement. We have been uploading all currently held drawings into the software and many standard patterns from leading market manufacturers.

To house this new machine, and to add much needed space to the workshop and stores, we have expanded into new premises adjacent to our current unit, essentially doubling our overall floor-space. We are upgrading the offices, as well as building specialised clean rooms for delicate production work.
Some of these changes have been influenced by our progress towards BS EN ISO 9001:2008. We are still on schedule and should be accredited later in the year.
